Danielle Withers

Danielle Withers is a Senior Music Education Major, with a minor in Classical Voice. Initiated into the Delta Nu Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota during the Spring Semester of 2006, she is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio by way of Caracas, Venezuela, and Augusta, Georgia. Along with being the current Song Leader for SAI, Danielle holds many positions in various organizations around Campus. She is the Soprano - Section Leader ( Along with Soror Janay' Turner) in the Howard University Choir, and has been serving in that capacity for the last three years. Danielle also serves as a member of Howard University's Premier Jazz Ensemble, Afro-Blue, the Praise and Worship Teams at Greater Mount Calvary, and is an intern at Howard University's Charter Middle School. In her spare time, she sings background for locally, nationally, and internationally acclaimed R&B and Gospel Recording Artists.

 

After graduation, Danielle plans to move to Los Angeles, California to pursue her solo Gospel Singing Career, and teach music in elementary schools.
