Keila White is currently a senior at Howard University. She is a "24 years young" Music Business Major with
her birthplace being Youngstown, OH. Keila was raised in Gaithersburg, MD almost all throughout grade
school with the exception of her last 4 years at Maumee High School in Maumee, OH.
Ms. White, came to Howard University in the Fall semester of 2003 and declared her major in
her passion, MUSIC! ; a passion that lead her to pursue membership in Sigma Alpha Iota, International
Music Fraternity in the Spring semester of 2005. Since her initiation she has held two executive board positions for
the Delta Nu Chapter which include Recording Secretary and Vice President
of Membership.
Currently, Keila White can be found spreading the gift of music at Pee Wee Piano, LLC. Pee
Wee Piano is a company started by Howard University graduate, Ms. Rotoya Williams. Ms. White teaches beginner's piano lessons to children ages 4-13. She also assists in teaching group
lessons at the Glenarden Woods Elementary school, in Glenarden, MD, twice a week.
Some goals of Ms. White's include expanding her lessons to "children of all ages". She would
like to continue teaching lessons out of her own studio one day, as well as pursue her career in music vocally and
in writing.
