Janay Turner

Originally from San Jose, California, Soror Janay’ Turner was initiated into the Delta Nu Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota during the Fall Semester of 2006. She graduated from Howard in May of 2009 with a Bachelor's in Music Business Major and minor in Classical Voice. She has used her background in music to contribute to many on-campus musical ensembles in various ways. She was not only involved in the Howard University Community Choir (RHC), but she was also one of the Soprano Section-Leader’s in the Howard University Choir, led by Dr. J Weldon Norris. Priding herself in her extensive array of on campus activities, Janay’ is a member of Alpha Omega Steppers for Christ, Golden Key International Honour Society, and was the on-air personality for WHBC’s “The Throwback.” 

 Janay’ is currently pursuing her masters degree at George Mason University.
