Vanessa McKinley

Vanessa McKinley

Vanessa McKinley was born in Atlanta, Ga and discovered her love for music at a very young age.  She has been active in plays, musicals, and pageants all her life.  She went to the Grammy Award winning Dekalb School of the Arts for High school concentrating in vocal music and dance.  At Howard University she is a Musical Theatre major and made her stage debut playing the controversial role of Sara in the play Stop/Kiss.  Vanessa was a finalist in the Miss District of Columbia America pageant with her talent being Vocal Pop.  Vanessa has been a member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity ,Delta Nu Chapter, since Spring 2006 and she served as the Editor for the Delta Nu chapter in 2007-2008. Ms. McKinley was also captain of the award winning Howard University Mock Trial Team.  She recently graduated from Howard with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre
 
Vanessa is currently attending law school in Washington, D.C.
