Rhyan
Crawford is an alumnae of the Delta Nu Chapter, and has been a member
of SAI since Spring 2006. In Spring 2008, she
received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education with a minor in Classical Voice. Rhyan’s caliber
stands for excellence, intelligence, and diligence. She is from Union, New Jersey and has acheived numerous accomplishments.
In 2000 she starred as Dorothy in the Wizz at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. While at Howard she has held an intern
position at Sony Urban Music under the Executive Vice President of the A&R Department. She was a member of the Howard
University Choir for 3 years and has performed at the Kennedy Center,
Corcoran Gallery, Lincoln Memorial, and numerous memorial services for Civil Rights leaders. In 2007, Rhyan
transmitted her love of music to dance when she became a member of Howard
University’s Showtime Marching Band Ooh La La! Dance Team.
Rhyan
now teaches music in Newark, New Jersey.
Rhyan also aspires to continue the legacy of spreading the love of music in her community
with her future aspirations of owning and directing a community school for the arts. Rhyan stands
firmly on her FAITH in GOD, LOVE and LAUGHTER.
